Curated, Not Crowded – Why Our Wine List Stays Intentional

Come by and try something familiar. Or let us pour you something you’ve never heard of.

In a city packed with wine options, sometimes less really is more. At CARTA, our wine list doesn’t try to cover every region or grape — instead, we focus on curating a tight, thoughtful selection that reflects the spirit of our space and the people we serve.

This isn’t about trends or trophy bottles. It’s about wines that are expressive, honest, and built for sharing.

What We Look For

We tend to favor wines from the Mediterranean — places like Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Southern France — not just because we love the flavor profiles, but because they fit how we serve food and host guests. These wines are made to be enjoyed with small plates, slow evenings, and real conversation.

Most of what we pour comes from small producers using organic or biodynamic practices. We look for winemakers who care about their craft, their land, and their story — because that energy comes through in the glass.

Less About Labels, More About Feeling

You won’t find a 10-page list here. And that’s intentional. We’d rather know every wine on our menu deeply than stack it with bottles for the sake of variety.

If you’re someone who knows exactly what you like, we’ll get you there. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s even better — we’ll guide you toward something you’ll love (no ego, no pressure).

The goal is simple: keep it approachable, keep it balanced, and keep it interesting.

Built to Match the Moment

Our list changes often — sometimes weekly — based on what we’re tasting, what’s seasonal, and what feels right in the room. It’s a living thing. Just like the conversations at your table.
